The Alpaka Lodge

The Alpaka Experience, is a total concept. With the Lodge as your base, you will have the opportunity of trying a variety of activities, and as our guest you will have warm comfortable accommodation, hot baths and showers, outstanding food, fine wines, and the best of company. We combine chalet-style surroundings with a personalised family atmosphere allowing you to do what you want to do while being comfortable.

The Ski Club of Great Britain meet at The Lodge six evenings each week, you are invited to try a day out with their resort representitive and join if you wish. Many local instructors and mountain guides will often pass by for a sociable drink and there is no shortage of local knowledge and mountain expertise available. Thus the Alpaka Experience is not a ski school. It is an opportunity which offers excellent accommodation, food and wine centred on one of the world's best ski areas, with quality skiing most of the year, winter and summer.

Should you want help, there will be an element of ski instruction during your Alpaka Experience as we can offer a wide range of skiing and mountaineering tuition tailored to suit the needs of our guests.
